Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships 2027-2028
The 2027-2028 Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for foreign researchers and PhD applicants to conduct research at Swiss higher-education institutions; applications open from 20 August 2026 and are submitted through Swiss diplomatic representations.
Eligibility
Foreign early-career researchers pursuing a PhD or applying for a PhD scholarship must meet the master’s-degree, research-plan, and Swiss-supervisor requirements; applicants from Thailand must verify the country-specific criteria and deadline with the Swiss Embassy in Thailand
